  • Each 20-hr CE Renewal package is equally designed to meet the 20-hr renewal requirement in Hawaii. Each includes the mandatory Core A and B courses until 5/20 of odd-numbered years and 14 hrs of electives.  About Core courses: Every biennium, Core A and B are always based on legislation sessions / law updates. Core A comes out in even-numbered years and Core B comes out in odd-numbered years. The State of Hawaii expires its Core A and B courses on 5/31 in odd-numbered years.  Once the State expires the Core courses, licensees will take electives in their place until the next Core courses come out in the even-numbered year. The new Core courses are only released by the State once their respective legislation sessions take place.  Verify information / check for updates ahead of purchase.     *Info REMI provides is for informational purposes and convenience. The info provided is not a substitute for that provided by a licensing authority. It is the responsibility of the licensee (or prospective licensee) to review education requirement documentation on the State's website and/or consult with the licensing authority ahead of purchase to ensure courses meet your education requirements. • Once you have completed the course requirements, your completion goes into queue for processing. Processing often occurs within 1-3 business days, allow 8 to be safe. Some States enable the school (us) to report your credits directly into the State's database (ex: Hawaii, Missouri, Georgia, Oregon, Tennessee). However, this isn't always the case. For example, in Washington and Iowa, schools do not report completions to the State. Instead, Washington's licensees are responsible for having their course completion certificates on-hand in case of an audit. It is best to check with the licensing authority to ensure you understand your State's deadlines, fees, paperwork, information and record-retention requirements.  After completing the courses, licensees are responsible for checking with the State to ensure the State has everything they need. Licensees are responsible for maintaining certificates and records of their completions for the State-required minimum number of years (often 5 to 7 years depending on the State).   Info updated as of 9/14/2022.  Info subject to change at any time by State. Check for updates.

  • Most licensing authorities require students invest at least 50 min of studying for every credit hour received. All of our courses are narrated. • Hawaii licensees must be aware that AHEAD of sign-up: Licensees are responsible for knowing the Hawaii Administrative Rules related to Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons (HAR Title 16, Section 99). A copy of HAR 16-99 from the State's website is found below. This information is subject to change without notice. Licensees are responsible for checking for updates. https://cca.hawaii.gov/pvl/files/2013/08/har_99-c1.pdf Hawaii Administrative Rules (§16-99-115) require licensees provide continuing education providers with picture identification and a current real estate pocket card or notification of licensed status from the commission. Licensees are responsible for submitting these items to REMI via email or postal mail prior to beginning a course for credit. Failure to do so may impact the ability to receive credit for the course. The DCCA (licensing branch) has rules about taking duplicate elective courses. These rules are subject to change without notice. At the time of this writing, licensees may receive credit for duplicate course titles, but not in back-to-back bienniums. If you have taken a course in the most recent biennium, you will want to choose different titles this biennium. Courses with the same title but taken from different schools are not considered duplicates. Please contact the real estate commission for questions.
  • There are multiple reasons you may not hear audio on our narrated courses. Some ideas of things to look for are below: Make sure your device is not on silent / vibrate mode, Ensure your volume is turned up and not on mute. Ensure the audio is not piping through bluetooth / headset. On rare occasion, a device will think it is still connected to a headset even when it is not -- so try reconnecting/disconnecting the headset to see if that's the case. Sometimes a quick fix is to see if the issue persists when trying a different browser or device. *Please note that in rare instances, some materials and State-specific courses are read-only and are not narrated. These are often noted in the title of the course or by the nature of the item being a document such as a PDF.
  • Most of our courses are narrated. You can begin our narrated courses from phone, tablet or computer. No special apps are needed and your 24/7 access is instantaneous. Simply, click the ‘My Courses’ tab and the button labeled ‘Open.’ Launch your first chapter or course to begin. Our instructor begin talking you through each topic, drawing from readily-applied; real-world examples from his over 35+ years of practicing in real estate. The course is self-paced, allowing you to print notes, review previous material, and (if applicable) take and re-take quizzes as often as you like throughout the access period. When life calls you away to take a phone call, pick up the kids, or go on vacation, you have the luxury to stop-and-go whenever please. Simply click ‘exit’ and the program saves your place. If required by your State, the course includes any required course surveys / tests. The process of issuing course credit / certificates differs from State-to-State. In States like Hawaii, REMI will send you an email to let you know your completion has been submitted to the State usually within 1-3 business days (allow 8 to be safe). In each State students are each responsible for independently confirming they have completed the requirements and that the State has everything they need for processing (fees, paperwork, course completions, all steps completed). Instead of REMI submitting completions to the State, some States (ex: Iowa and Washington) ask that students print and save their own certificates in case of audit. If you have any questions about our process, feel free to call us: (808) 230-8200 Confirm with your State licensing authority to confirm details and to check for updates on procedures or education requirements. • Our courses are phone / tablet compatible. If you need help enabling the presentation window to open -- see below. If you do not see the presentation, check that pop-ups are enabled on your device. For example, if you using Safari, you can go to the gray Settings icon, then scroll to Safari, and then scroll down to Block Pop-ups to be sure that the setting is gray / inactive. If your setting is green, it means pop-ups are blocked and the presentation cannot launch in a new window. If you are using Chrome, look for 3 dots. Click those dots and you should be able to click "Settings" and then "Content Settings" and look for an item labeled "Block Pop-ups." If your setting says 'On' it means pop-ups are blocked and the presentation cannot launch in a new window. Steps can vary based on the device and version of software you are using.
